1. Perform those duties generally required of the chief executive of an organization.
2. Preside at meetings of the Voters’ Assembly and Church Council.
3. Assure that committees are functioning effectively by attending meetings as frequently as possible and evaluating performance.
4. Prepare agendas for meetings of the Voters’ Assembly and Church Council.
5. Meet with the pastor at least once each month to review past activities and plan future efforts.
6. Assist the pastor in preparing the annual report.
7. Form additional committees as needed for specific tasks and, with Church Council approval, appoint chairmen.
8. Be chairman of the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee.
9. Appoint individuals to serve as officers or elders until nominations are ratified by the Voters’ Assembly.
