1.  Assure that church discipline is conducted according to Scripture.

2.  Seek to stimulate a high level of spirituality in the congregation.

3.  Assist the pastor in cultivating a spirit of harmony among members
     and between members and the pastor.

4.  Call on inactive members and attempt to reclaim them for Christ.

5.  Monitor the doctrinal position of the pastor.

6.  Include study of the Bible in monthly meetings.

7.  Choose one of their members to serve on the Church Council as Head Elder.

8.  Serve as examples to the congregation by regular attendance at worship services, 
     participation in Holy Communion and participation in Bible studies.

9.  Report activities to the Church Council and Voters’ Assembly.
